Joy in Motion Project

Untitled design-60

Angela is an inspiring example of resilience and dedication. She not only brought her passion for dance to AIRE through the “Alegria em Movimento” Project, but she also became a reference of care and support for the girls in the community. By offering ballet classes, she is providing these young women not just an opportunity for artistic development, but also an outlet and a space to strengthen their self-esteem.

The fact that she is helping girls in vulnerable situations reflects her desire to contribute to a better future, both for her daughters and for other children who, like her, are seeking a path of growth and transformation. In this context, dance goes beyond mere technical learning; it is a tool for empowerment and inclusion.

The Alegria em Movimento Project is an example of how passion and collective work can transform lives, offering not only an enriching activity but also creating a support network that strengthens the community. The presence of volunteers, like Frances Fukuda, who helped with donations, demonstrates how people’s involvement can make a difference in realizing dreams and improving lives.

Today, Angela’s family no longer lives at AIRE. They rented a house in the area, and one of the main sources of income for the family is the leather accessories business (@adaia_acessórios) they set up. Be sure to check it out and support this venture as well!

Thank you, Angela, and wishing you much success!
