Who are the people we are helping?

There are 262.000 refugees and migrants from Venezuela in Brazil nowadays. The economic and political crisis in our neighboring country brought them not only uncertainties but a shortage of food and medical supplies and increased the migratory flow of Venezuelans to Brazil.

On January 20, 2021 we received two Venezuelans, a mother and son, coming from Manaus. After a little over a year in Brazil they got a job opportunity in Sao Paulo and have decided to start over in the southeast of Brazil. On April 12, four more Venezuelans arrived. A family whose 12 year-old son has not had the chance to go to school since he arrived in Brazil (about 1 and a half years ago) and a young man who has recently become homeless and has been living in a bus station.

We receive more calls for help everyday as the situation of Venezuelan migrants in the northern part of the country is very critical and many people find themselves without income, a home or food.

Come and dream with us, bringing hope to those who have already gone through so much.
